BEEF BURGERS


Beef burgers recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp mild curry powder, such as Schwartz
  • ½ tsp garlic powder, such as Schwartz
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • dried red chilli flakes, such as Schwartz (optional)
  • 2 slices bread
  • 450 g minced beef
  • onion, grated
  • egg, beaten
  • 2 tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • METHOD

    1. Preheat the grill to a medium heat. Mix all the herbs and spices together in a small bowl. Run some cold water over the bread and squeeze out the excess water.

    2. Add the soaked bread to the minced beef in a large bowl. Mix in the herbs and spices and all the remaining ingredients and season well. Blend the ingredients together well using a large spoon or your hands.

    3. Shape into four burgers. Place the burgers directly onto the rack of the grill-pan to allow the fat to drain away during cooking. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through.
